Learn key skills and strategies including a five-point learning advantage developed by BTPS TESTING and the authors of CliffsNotes CSET Multiple Subjects 4th Edition.
1. Expert instruction – Benefit from in-class instruction with credentialed teachers and leading specialists in the field of test preparation.
2. Assessment – Learn to identify your strengths and target your weaknesses.
3. Review – Receive instruction about the CSET content, domain subject areas, question types, test-taking strategies, scoring and computer-based testing.
4. Class materials – Receive a comprehensive textbook written by the BTPS Testing faculty, CliffsTest Prep CSET® aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
5. Free-repeat policy – Repeat the prep class as often as necessary for extra subject-area review.
Strategies and techniques for answering the multiple-choice and constructed-response questions will be discussed and selected areas will be reviewed. This workshop is designed to help students apply their knowledge to meet exam requirements in each of the exam subtests, but is not a substitute for formal academic course work. CSET test areas include: Subtest I – History/Social Science and Reading, Language & Literature; Subtest II – Science and Math; Subtest III – Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education and Human Development. The book included in the course is written by the faculty of BTPS Testing, CliffsNotesTestPrep CSET® including two full-length practice tests for enhanced home study.
